Projects

St Bees Island
This project began in 1998 and is the longest running continuous koala research project and is supported by the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.

Tandora recolonisation
Beginning in 2014 we have been monitoring a recolonisation project at "Tandora", a cattle property near Maryborough in Queensland.

Bluesfest Koala Monitoring
For over ten years we have been monitoring the koalas that live around the Bluesfest site in NSW. We monitor their behaviour and responses to the changes that occur over the year at this site.

Koala research in Brisbane
We have several koala research projects across the south east of Queensland, supported by Brisbane City Council.

Brisbane Valley Koalas
We run an annual road survey in the Mt Byron area of the Brisbane Valley. This site has also been the focus of our research into koala adaptation to climate change and the work here is supported by San Diego Zoo and more recently also by The Queensland Government.

Koalas of central Queensland
We have a range of projects surveying koalas and their habitat in central Queensland. We have run significant projects in the Clermont and Clarke Connors Range areas.
